So it's little wonder that, according to the Office for National Statistics, the UK lost 148.9M sick days in 2024 - with poor mental health costing employers between £42-45 billion annually. From global perspective, research by Gallup shows that if workplaces had fully engaged staff productivity worldwide would be up by £7.5 trillion. We know this happens when individuals lack a clear sense of belonging, purpose and direction in their lives. Achievers are the stars who drive success so we need to look after them.
