about the webinar
The world of work is changing faster than at any previous time in our history as the technology and automation of Industry 4.0, drives disruption and change. Much of what served until recently as sound career advice and guidance no longer holds true as job roles and sectors undergo significant change.
In this interactive webinar, Carolyn will help you to understand how the world of work is changing and encourage you to consider what this means for your learners' futures and your own CPD needs. The one hour webinar is scheduled to take place on Monday February 10th at 4pm and will be recorded. A playback link will be provided to everyone who registers to watch it at a later date. |
about the speaker
Multi-award-winning expert career coach/trainer, TEDx speaker and changemaker, Carolyn came to careers work in her early 30s, after a successful, but unfulfilling, career in property, international software and publishing. After retraining as a university careers adviser in 2001, she spent 15 years in the HE sector, latterly as a senior manager and careers and employability director.
She set up Career Alchemy in 2015. Career Alchemy's clients range from the UK Cabinet Office, to Universities, Councils, and includes large corporates such as Unilever and EY. Carolyn represents the Career Development Institute, the UK professional body for the sector, in Wales as part of her business activities, is a national trainer for AGCAS (the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services) and serves on a number of Boards including Ceredigion Citizens’ Advice. Career Alchemy uses its own all age independently research-proven INSPiRED framework, toolkit and planner to help teenagers, graduates and professionals to identify and create purpose-driven and sustainable careers that help to solve the world’s greatest challenges. |
